Car trouble while on vacation can be nearly as high on the annoyance scale as an unplanned trip to the dentist. In Branson, there is one shop that stands alone as far as I'm concerned. B.A.T. Boys (Brake, Auto & Tire Boys)

McQueen have been helping to keep Branson visitors on the road for more than 20 years.
They are located next to Anytime Fitness, behind Splash Car Wash and across from the Red Roof on Gretna (Map). Their large building houses more hydraulic lifts than anyone we know of in Branson. This along with their seasoned crew of professional mechanics, enable them to work on several jobs simultaneously.

Although they may not want it publicized, this writer has personally heard countless stories about Buzz helping people in ways that would be unheard of at most shops - working after hours, giving free advice over the phone and things I dare not mention that would further show their charitable nature.
When I asked Buzz about this he said, "It's not only about making money. Although we have to make money (this is a business), we want to help people and do the right thing." Co-owner Shirley adds, "We believe that if you treat people right, in a Christian manner, they'll be back and probably tell their friends. ...but even if they don't, we will know that we did things the right way."
Whether keeping the vehicles for Branson's IMAX Entertainment Complex safe on the road or fixing a flat tire for a first time customer, everyone is treated with care and respect.
After a customer (William S.) from Lampe, MO took his Toyota 4 Runner to B.A.T. Boys he said, "I was late for my scheduled appointment and they accommodated me with no hassle. Explained a needed repair with clarity and no pressure. I like their style."
B.A.T. Boys provides services ranging from Missouri State Inspections and small repairs to entire engine and transmission overhauls. No job seems too big or too small for this team of professionals.
